I've been traveling around Latin America for the past 2 years, and I can confidently say that Tower Bridge in Puerto Escondido is the best hostel I've ever stayed at! The hostel truly lives up to its motto of "come as strangers and leave like friends." The staff, including the owner, are amazing and make you feel like family. The daily activities and social atmosphere are a real highlight, and Fidel, in particular, goes above and beyond to ensure everyone feels welcome and gets involved. The location is great, just a short walk to the market where you can find delicious and affordable food. The hostel also has fantastic amenities like a swimming pool, a well-equipped kitchen, and even a pool table. The fast and reliable WiFi is a definite plus too. I highly recommend Tower Bridge for anyone looking for an amazing hostel experience!
I would be happy to recommend this hostel.

The atmosphere is so social and fun, making it easy to meet new people and have a great time. the communal area is beautiful, with plenty of hammocks and seating to relax in. the swimming pool was a refreshing bonus. the friendly staff made us feel welcome and were always there to help. the Wi-Fi connection was strong and the breakfast was delicious. a cozy and inviting place to stay!
The lack of natural airflow and weak ceiling fan in the rooms made it uncomfortably hot at times.

The team made me feel welcome, and Mr. Fidel organized an incredible sunset watch. The bathrooms were new, the pool was refreshing, and the bar was a great place to meet other happy travelers. The hostel offers many opportunities to meet and connect with fellow travelers. One night at the bar, I ended up planning a beach excursion with a group of adventurous souls. It felt like being part of a flock of birds escaping the clutches of the land and soaring into the ocean of unforgettable experiences.
Location is far from beaches.

This hostel is mind-blowing! The staff is super friendly and helpful, making you feel like family. The fun atmosphere and daily activities, along with the awesome swimming pool and bar area, are jaw-dropping. The all-you-can-eat breakfast is super rich and energizing. The cozy accommodations and spacious layout exceeded expectations. But what really sets this place apart is the incredible people who make it feel like home. Great vibes and experiences. The hostel was well-equipped and had everything I needed to relax and feel comfortable. The employees and volunteers were friendly and made my stay great. They even organized trips, like the one to Laguna Negra, where we enjoyed a beautiful view of the stars, a campfire, and bioluminescence. It was an awesome experience. The owner, Erick, was also very nice and organized a trip to the waterfall La Reforma, which was great. I really recommend this hostel for its good vibes and friendly staff.
The dorms could be improved. The mattress and pillow were not that comfortable, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

The hostel had all the facilities and activities that we needed to keep everyone entertained. From the Make-Your-Own-Pizza night to the trivia quiz and Sorryball in the pool, there was always something fun happening. We especially enjoyed the boat party and gathering for sunset, which created memorable moments for our family. Another highlight was releasing the baby turtles into the ocean after their time in the sand. , the hostel had a billiards table for some friendly competition.
My wife says that the only suggestion she has for families with children is to have a dedicated kids' play area.
